Youth Ministry

Canyon View’s youth ministry is a thriving ministry that is all about God and His will for our lives. It is our goal to worship God in “spirit and truth” as Jesus says in John 4:24. While we are building up the faith of the youth, we desire to carry out the Great Commission given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:18-20). Our aim is to “love in deed and in truth? (1 John 3:18).
We provide a safe and healthy environment where teens can grow and strengthen their faith in Christ. It is a judgment-free zone where teens do not have to worry about discouragement. An essential part of our youth ministry is the family. Rather than replacing parents as the primary source for spiritual training, our desire is to come alongside them as wholesome mentors and spiritual guides.
The youth ministry is for 7th-12th graders. The teens meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM for Bible class. There are also events at different times throughout the week. In addition, regular “Pre-Teen” events are arranged for children in 6th grade and below. We plan service projects, fun events, family events, retreats, Bible Camp, and seasonal events like “beach days.” Many opportunities are provided for the youth to serve the community and fellowship with the congregation as a whole. It is our hope and prayer that you will be a part of our Canyon View family and that your children will become part of our youth ministry.
